Quito is one of the few cities which are blessed with its setting: on the slopes of the passive Pichincha volcano (4,794 m.a.s.l). Full of colonial flavor, Quito was an Inca city refounded by the Spaniards in 1534. From the cobblestone streets in the Old Town, to the modern cosmopolitan new town, any traveler visiting Quito will be amazed by its architectural contrast: Churches like La Compania, the Cathedral and San Francisco; Independence Square, Governmental Palace, enhanced by a charm and friendly atmosphere in the modern area and “El Panecillo" Hill, where you appreciate a marvelous panoramic view of the city.

City Tour + Museum of the City - 3 hours
Visit of the City and the magnificent Museo de la Ciudad (Museum of the City). This world class museum exhibits daily life in Quito, from the aboriginal period scenes of the 19th Century. The Museum is located in the building where, since the 16th Century, San Juan de Dios Hospital once operated.

Visit of the magnificent Museum of Quito and the Guayasamin Museum, founded by Ecuador’s most famous artist, Oswaldo Guayasamin. This museum has one of the most complete Ecuadorian archaeological collections in the world and Pre-Columbian Art with 2000 objects of art of the different cultures such as: Valdivia, Machalilla, Chorrera and Tolita among others. There is also a collection of Colonial and Modern Art.
