2 Day.- Today you will make a visit to the primary forest swamps, where there is abundant flora and fauna. Return to the hotel for lunch. In the afternoon, take a hike through the jungle to observe the contrasts between the different communities and to get in contact with the invaluable zoology and botany that mother nature offers here.
3 Day.- Walk and a canoe trip to Añago-co-cha. This trips lasts around 6-7 hours and allows you to live marvelous experiences in the virgin forest. Return to the hotel. Lunch. Later you will take another canoe trip to the lake next to SACHA LODGE. Guides will offer extensive explanations of the ecosystem and its scientific consequences.
4 Day.- After breakfast, you will stroll around the jungle, along small rivers to see local flora and fauna. Return to the hotel. Lunch. Later you will visit a swamp full of animals and plants from the Napo basin. Return to the hotel. Dinner.
5 Day.- Return to Coca by boat. Return to Quito.
Sacha Lodge (5 Days)
1 Day.- Flight from Quito to Coca via TAME airlines. Arrival to Coca Airport at 11:00 a.m. Airport reception and transfer to the port. There you will take an overboard motor canoe trip along the Napo River. After 2 ½ hours of traveling through the jungle, you arrive to Providencia, which is the entrance to SACHA LODGE. After a 30 minute-stroll in the forest, we’ll arrive to the beautiful Pichicocha lagoon located in front of the hotel, and then return by canoe to the hotel, were you will taste a delicious lunch. In the afternoon, we will walk through the rain forest to watch many of the existing bird species. Return to Sacha Lodge in the evening.
