ARASHA RAIN FOREST RESORT AND SPA:
The Arasha Rainforest Resort and Spa opened in 2002 and has quickly proven it to be the best option for clients looking to visit the rain forest while maintaining a high level of accommodation and service. Located two-hours away by paved road from Quito, Arasha is situated in the middle of the rain forest surrounded by lush vegetation, tropical fruits, plants and trees, flowers, birds, and local fauna. Two rivers cross the property, which makes swimming an easy option. The average temperature is 76°F or 23°C. The property offers a spa, excellent restaurants, a large swimming pool, and a large whirlpool bath inside a cave. Occasionally there are live shows and folklore performances in the auditorium.
HOSTERIA LA CIENEGA, Cotopaxi:

HACIENDA CUSIN, Otavalo region:
Hacienda Cusin was founded in 1602 and remains as one of the oldest haciendas in Ecuador. Today it is a country inn consisting of 25 comfortable and beautifully decorated guest rooms, suites and cottages. Each room has been carefully designed to preserve the hacienda's historic ambience. The Hacienda Cusin is situated 90 minutes north of Quito, in the famous Otavalo Region close to San Pablo de Lago and surrounded by the mountains of Cotocachi, Imbabura, and Mojanda.

HACIENDA ZULETA, Otavalo region:
Situated two hours north of Quito in the Andean cloud forest and owned by a former President of Ecuador, this hacienda is the centerpiece of a 4,000 acre farm that includes a dairy, cheese factory, organic garden, tree nursery, trout farm, embroidery workshop and condor-raising project. Guests can saddle up one of the horses and ride through pine and eucalyptus forests and high-altitude grasslands to pre-Inca archaeological sites amid magnificent volcano views. You can also hike, cycle or take tours to the nearby indigenous villages. Zuleta has 19 rooms with only 9 available to guests. Open only to a limited number of visitors per year, Zuleta hospitality retains an intimacy, warmth and sincerity reminiscent of the century past.
